Graduate schools in us offering avian infectious diseases?

Question:

Answers:
I am unaware of any school having a specific program in avian infectious disease. However, many universities, especially those with vet schools, will have vet micro programs with many faculty members working on avian diseases. I would suggest that you research a little bit about these faculty to find out what they work on and contact them about working in their lab.

Off the top of my head, here are a couple of schools that have vet micro programs with people working on avian diseases (specifically bacterial diseases such as E. coli and Salmonella):

University of Georgia
Iowa State University
Purdue

Again most vet school will have someone working in the field of avian infectious disease, whether it be bacterial, viral, fungal, etc. Your best bet would to research these a little bit to find a lab that fits the area you are interested in.

Good luck.
