Friend may die please please read?

Question:
My friend was in a motorcycle accident. He lost control and hit a colvert. He was wearing the lowest grade helmet. He was put in a medically induced coma. A few days later he went into cardiac arrest and flat lined. His kidneys also shut down and now he is having early signs of liver failure. The doctors say if he lives he will remain in a vegatative state for the rest of his life. Have you ever know someone with severe injuries that live a fairly normal life today? Also have you ever know of someone where the doctors said they would live in a vegitative state but they did not? Thank you so much for all your answers.

Answers:
my ex husband was in an accident about 2 years ago. the situation sounds very similar to his. i talked to his wife everyday almost and she was at the point where she had to get the man a suit to be buried in. he was in the induced coma for a little over 4 weeks. all the same problems came with it, just like you described. i just talked to her and let her vent her anger at him, her fear and mostly just cry.
no one in the world knew him as much as she did, except me

to make a long sad story short, he is alive and living a wonderful life. the suit was returned and they made it through it all. there is hope, no matter how bleak it looks, there is hope
No, and I'm sorry to hear that .. but I have had relatives die in motorcycle crash's so be thankful. Everyone has to die sometime, just pray for the best!*
Prayers going to you and your friend...and families.
Tell you what, I'll say a prayer for your friend right now. Best anyone can do. Hopefully many others will follow.
I'm so sorry for your friend. He'll be in my prayers.
No - but may you find strength during this difficult time.
yes. I worked for a couple who's son was hit by a car and the doctors told them he would never walk again or be able to do anything for him self. well, his Mum became involved with reikie and reflexology and after many sessions and much devotion her son now RUNS around and is quite independent. He will never be "Normal" but he has a good quality of life. I also think that positive thinking is a key ingredient in recovery of this kind.
Listen, do not ever let a doctor tell you something like that. They dont know as much as they think they do. I know someone who was like that, they give up on him and everything, I'm telling you he's in better shape than I am and i'm only 25. Honey do alot of praying and everything will work out and if for some reason it doesnt, it was just meant to be. Actually i know another person that was like that too, he was in a coma too, young man and he is up and running every where. His wife screwed him over while he was in the coma but thats another story but man he's doing great. Too many Doctors like to play god these days.
I'm sorry about your friend. It sounds like it was a horrible accident but I am a firm believer in the power of prayer. I've seen God work miracles through my life and the lives of others. I'll pray for you, your friend and his family. God Bless!
there are many things that doctors have been wrong about like my aunt they said she would never walk or have babies she proved them wrong you must pray for your friend and offer soul support it would help if they strengthen his liver with milk thistle and his heart with vitamin e and ground coriander seed. tea stimulates the brain
I'd give anything if I had some answers for you. All I know is that they are doing alot of work in this field and have made some important strides in the last few years. Unfortunately there are no miracles--only hope. Once in awhile something really mind blowing happens. Wish for what's right for him.
