Can i drink alcohol whilst taking prednisolone tablets?

normally i heard ppl say its not recommended to drink alcohol and have medication together. they say its bad for health and have effects.. i not too sure either.
In ur pills there will be a note,read it,as it will tell you what you can and can't take with them,tho I have never heard ne1 having problems drinking with them.
Acute alcohol ingestion (as opposed to chronic) will inhibit the cytochrome P450 enzyme pathway. This is responsible for the metabolism of prednisolone amongst other things in the liver.
Therefore your prednisolone will take longer to break down. This inhibition is more likely the more you drink.
