Are there any foods that help regenerate new brain cells?

I am a sort of giving you an additional information and not replying your question directly.
I read very recently in an article that children in the age group less than 12 were found with increased "gray-matter" in brain after a regular intake of "Extra-virgin-olive-oil."
And I assume that it is possible that given the age factor the regeneration of not only brain cells even other body cells, including nervous system.
In future Stem cell therapy might be a good case for this too.

No, because you cant regenerate them. Once your 23 the brain stops growing and starts to lose brain cells. You can only train them that way you keep them ;)
No, when Brain cells "die" they are gone, when you are born, your brain has a certain number of cells that are supposed to last you for a certain amount of time. Over time, brain cells will regenerate, but you have to excersize your mind, that's another reason why we go to school, if we didn't go, a lot of us would die around the age of 60 or so because we would just "run out" of brain cellls.
