Blood test?

Question:
i would like to know if hiv virus can be detected in a regular blood test (full blood count), and how it shows.

Answers:
They're might be come abnormal values, but they wouldn't point to HIV. A separate HIV test is required for diagnosis.
The only thing that might show up is a decrease in the amount of white blood cells. (wbc). HIV virus can be detected by the presence of antibodies and later confirmed using Western Blot. The viral load is then monitored using a PCR test. The blood count Does Not detect HIV antibodies or viral proteins. Your blood count can be normal and be HIV infected at the same time. Please get tested and stop wasting valuable time. HIV can be controlled with treatment.
Good Luck
No, they could see that you might have some type of infection, but nothing more. They have to ask to do an HIV test.
