ugh...i suffer from stretch marks too! It's party hereditary. One of my sisters does not have them at all, but me and the other two do. I have them the worst and don't know why. I have them on my inner thighs, my outter thighs, my lower back. I'm not like a big person either.
Technically, you can never really get rid of them completely, w/out surgery. They have a few products that can help them a little like Mederma. Vitamin E is supposed to help too.
go to a dermatology doctor or skin essential or a mary kay consultant. I have blimishes on my face and I have a highlighter pen for make up that hides it. it blends in well with my make up and really helps.
