Can you still get a tan if your wearing sunscreen?

Question:

Answers:
yeah man but not as good as if you weren't
Sunblock, if applied correctly and re-applied often, won't let you tan. If you want to tan and not burn, try a lotion, not a screen.
Think of your window on your house. It has a screen. The screen will still let light in, right? Sun screen is similar, but it takes more time for it to wear off. the initial application of sunscreen will prevent most UV A&B rays but not all. If you want a tan, choose a lower level SPF (Sun Protect. Factor) and you will still get your nice tan and lower the risk of skin cancer.
Yes, in fact your tan will be better. I wore spf 30 for a week in Florida and I got a good tan. What the sunscreen does is filter out the harmful rays and allows you to be in the sun longer without getting sunburned. Keep applying in 1-2 times throughout the day. I didn't get sunburned at all, got a good tan and spent all day everyday out. Don't take the risk of skin cancer. Use sunscreen. The more times you burn, the greater your chance of skin cancer
