What causes more frequent hunger pangs?

Question:
for a diabetic (type 2) it is more and more hunger pangs and lasting longer between meals?the blood sugar average is 102.

Answers:
Your question is a little confusing, but I think what you are asking is basically what foods will keep you full longest? And keep off hunger pains? If that is the case, your best bet is protein. Any kind of carbs, especially breads, cereal, pasta, potatoes, crackers, chips, etc. will spike your sugar and your body will use it up quickly, causing your body to want more very quickly. That explains why if you have a bowl of cereal at 8am, by 10 or 10:30am your stomach is growling like mad! If you had some scrambled eggs or some other protein-rich food for breakfast, you would easily be able to last until 11:30 or 12 before hearing anything from your stomach!
If your blood sugar average is 102, you have nothing to complain about. If you're hungry, exercise and drink more water. Don't sit around or you'll binge.
this is a good question. i have the same problem. EXCESSIVE hunger and it makes me so mad because i don't want to eat that often but my stomach screams at me to eat something. it feels like i haven't eaten in days. i was told about one and a half years ago that i was borderline diabetic but couldn't afford to be checked out by a doctor since. I have been trying to find info online about diabetes. i think that there are other causes for excessive hunger..look it up on wrongdiagnosis.com.just type in your symptoms...good luck to ya:)
