How do I get rid of facial flushing/blotchiness?

Question:
The skin on my face is highly sensitive, and will turn bright red whenever irritated (like by rubbing or temperature change or no good reason at all) It seems that I have tried everything to help it, but it isn't getting any better. Does anyone have any methods I might have missed? P.S.-It is NOT Rosacea. I know this for a fact.

Answers:
with your skin sometimes doing too much is the wrong thing to do. the more products you use, the more risk of irritation and sensitiivty you have. have you tried a calendula cream (Weleda sells some) or lavender oil?these are healing and calming/soothing oils that take away irritation. try a weekly facial steam..it may be irritiating the first time but this is just your skin reacting to good circulation; which you need. also (this is usually a symptom of several skin disorders like rosacea but since you don't have it, it might not concern you)you might have too much bacteria in your system.
i have the same problem =/ if i find anything that works i'll let u knw
