If i smoke a cigar once every other month, or even less, can i still get addicted?

Question:

Answers:
Most people who smoke cigars don't enhale the smoke, and you could only become addicted to them if you enhaled the nicotine into your lungs, which then goes into your bloodstream.

If you do inhale the smoke, I smoking that infrequently wouldn't cause addiction.

I hope this helps.

Take care.

Kathy
No, you can't, if you control yourself.

You, in fact, start breaking your addiction after a day.
Monthly intervals are a great idea.
Keep yourself on the patch, though.
Or the gum.
Just if you have a craving, though.
yep
Smoking even just ONCE is enough to get a person addicted.
I will tell you my philospophy as an addict. A once in a while thing is ok, but when you break from that once in a while to everyday, thats when you get the problem. I'm an ashamed smoker and kids always come to me and ask "if i smoke one of my friends cigereetees will i be addicted" and my answer is no, it's when you go out and buy them or have to have them so much you beg from strangers that you have a problem. and that's what i tell you if you find yourself needing a cigar everytime you see someone on tv or smell it. then you might want to cut yourself off completely until you can recontrol it. other then that enjoy your monthly puff! :)
You can get addicted to anything just by trying or doing something just once, even if it is at strange intervals.
i know some people who only smoke socially, when they are drinking or partying, and never see them smoke other than those times...so i dont think it can be addicting if its only done once every two months... by the way, why do u still have to smoke..
