Sex has been REALLY painful for nearly a month...I went to the doctor tested negative on all HPV&STD tests??

Question:
what else could be wrong?? I even went through the entire prescription of anti-biotics

Answers:
the poster above me has a good answer, i just thought i'd add there are all sorts of reasons why sex can become painful. sometimes the tissues and skin thin, making them able to feel pain.
it could be a thyroid/parathyroid issue, pcos, an early warning to pre-menopause/menopause-it may be even an intestinal issue. since the intestine is so close to the vaginal walls, you might be experiencing an issue all together unrelated to the genitalia.
do you drink alcohol, take a prescription med for something else, drink enough water?
there are many other reasons as to why your feeling pain-do not limit your visits to just the obgyn.

good luck and hugs!
Maybe it's a sign to not have sex until your married!
Could be a tilted uterus!!
