Question:
plz help. =/

Answers:
Buy a pill splitter from the drug store (very inexpensive little item) and chop them into smaller pieces, swallowing a little bit at a time. Or, pulverize them and place them in your morning smoothie in the blender.
smush them in with appal sause or peanut butter i do it for my youngest child
Well, if you're scared, try starting with Smarties (the candy). It doesn't taste bad, and it's a very small thing to swallow. Try taking pills with a flavored liquid, like juice. Or you could put the pill in applesauce, pudding, or ice cream. If they can be split, split them a few times or crush them up. (Make sure it doesn't have a coating on it, and isn't extended-release, neither of which should be crushed or split) Just keep telling yourself that it's not any bigger than a bite of food. If all else fails, try a liquid form of the medication. Good luck!
If its in accordance with your prescription advice and providing it is medically safe to do so I would suggest mashing the tablet up and mixing it in with your food.I hope this helps you.
1 Try using a straw. Sucking the liquid up through the straw is more forceful and you will hardly know you are swallowing a pill too.

2 If taking a pill or caplet, tilt your head back to get it further back in your throat. If taking a capsule, tilt your head forward to swallow the pill (a capsule will float to the back of the throat)
Of course, use both methods with water.

3 Don't use a liquid that is too hot OR too cold, it can constrict the throat. It is best to use cool or room temperature liquids (no carbonation either)
ask for a liquid form
