What do you do if your hands shake?

Question:
If I try to hold my hand still, draw in detail, or try to do concentrated movements (as in something slowly) it shakes a bit, like a person with parkinsons but not an extreme extent. My dad has the same thing and he attributes it to "nerves" I think there's another reason. Any answers before I seek a doctor?

Answers:
Low blood sugar or anemia would be my 2 guesses.
If shaking hands are your only problem, then you need to see a doctor and possibly a neurologist.
it could be stress
It could also be tremor syndrome. My husband's family has it, and it's genetic. My father in law has it very bad, and he's on medication to control it, but my husband's is only minor. I'd say that if it gets worse, check into it, but other than that, don't worry.

What is true for one is not necessarily true for the other. You need a complete work up from a neurologist I wish you the best.
