Sudden rash on my chest?

Question:
About ten minutes ago I just noticed that I have a rash on my chest, near my neck. It's also on the upper part on my stomach and my shoulders. I thought it might be because of using a lotion or something like that, but I can't remember using anything new. Is there anything that could cause me to get a rash this suddenly? The bumps are raised and are pinkish-red and itch a little bit. They resemble little tiny pimples.

Answers:
It could be a heat rash. If you've been warm, or sweating today, it's possible it's just heat rash and nothing to worry about. bathe before going to bed, and don't touch it.
I read a few weeks ago on web MD that is an HIV symptom
he's lying just go to the doctor and ask him what is it he/she will say a rash.
did you wash the shirt you were wearing? also put some rubbin alcohol just to be on the safe side... :)
it may be due to a new laundry detergent or soap, or maybe if you've been working in the yard lately. Try putting some of the itch cream that you have on it at home. It maybe a new soap or loufa that youve been using
my little sister had something like that...herpes simplex virus... dont worry you dont have genital herpes or anything... its like a cold sore on you stomach... go to your doctor and youll get prescribed a pill called valtrex and it will clear up soon
first off.. take a plain luke warm shower. no soaps.. no lotions.

if you have changed laundry detergents .. then you might have trouble finding something that wasnt washed in it.. but if you havent then a fresh towel and clothes..

It could be heat rash, stress. a number of other things..

Use a anti-itch cortizone cream. benadryl is good
if youve done yard work and might of been exposed to poison oak/ivy try a calamine lotion..

give it a couple days.. if it spreads or gets worse.. go to a doctor, but it could be as simple as it's hot out, we sweat and our skin doesnt breathe right.
If it is hot where you live, it is most likely heat rash. Bathe and let it dry.
