My 3 year old child has high cholesterol! Any good websites??

Ignore the findings. Honestly, why in the world would a doctor even test a child? Total cholesterol has nothing to do with heart disease anyway. They only reading that is important is triglycerides.
Just feed your child whole, healthy foods. Stay away from refined foods and sugar. Eat whole foods not junk.

edit-- and please don't feed your small child low fat. Fat is an important part of brain development. Fat is not evil. In fact under the idea of "low fat" heart disease has soared in this nation. Just feed healthy fats like olive oils, whole milk, fish, butter, etc. Don't feed trans fats though like the ones you get in junk food or margarine. Healthy whole foods are always the best choice. But the idea to feed a child low fat is very dangerous. Fat helps in brain development.
Now we tread down a very dangerous path. On what data is high cholesterol levels in children based? The question every parent in your situation must ask them self is;
"will I be depriving my child of vital (fat soluble) nutrients during their most important growth stage, thus causing irreversible damage that will haunt them their whole life??"
Ask for proof of the benefits of any action you take. Check out any proof provided for self, do research and then make an informed decision. Recommendations made in a medical journal does not necessarily constitute real proof. You are about to make one of the most important decisions in your child's life.
There are conditions that can lead to high levels of lipoproteins, mainly due to a problem with the body not producing receptor cells required for uptake of lipoproteins. If your child's levels are extraordinarily high, and your doctor has not checked for or is unaware of these conditions, you need a new doctor.
