Cant Stop Chewing On My Fingers!!?

Question:
I have a really bad habbit of chewing the side of my finger and on the joint of my thumb i cant stop i know its really gross but i do it when im really stress out, Any advice?

Answers:
Wear gloves! Not the heavy for-snow kind, but the thin, cloth kind. I'm dead serious -- this works for me. Just wear them around the house, even in the summer. If you have to go in public (and take off the gloves), put on nail polish. When you have the urge to bite your nails, try not to. But, if it persists, bite off the nail polish instead. This might sounds weird and/or gross...but it really does work. These unconventional methods shall make your nails long!

It only takes 21 days to break a habit..if you can go for 21 days without biting them, you're set!
just do this.. i've been like that before :-)

just bring a stress ball
Put some chili pepper on it!!
when im stressed out i bite my finger nails and what you need to do is either put some salt on your fingers, turpentime, or hot sauce and you will stop that habit. but with stress me i eat chocolate or ice cream. u could either get a stress ball or excerise or something else to get your mind off of biting you nails and fingers.
i would put on scented lotion all over that area where u chew and around it so u dont start another area. When u bite it, it will taste horrible and the girly scent will make u wanna stop.
