Sores around mouth from tanning bed?

Question: I have a few sores around my mouth.
It isnt like a fever blister, cold sore, or pimple but it is like im breaking out.
Some of my friends said it is from the tanning bed and some say it is from making out?
I dont understand...
If anyone has any info on how to treat or what they are please help.

I'd go with carmex! That stuff is great. If it doesn't go away in a day or two, I'd see a doctor.
