You can actually be alergic to just about anything and every alergy will be dealt with by the body in it's own way. Some alergies can make you just itch. Others produce rashes while other give you headaches. I am alergic to 7 foods but I never new it because I never had any breakouts. The way I found out was by accident. I got a larengitis that wouldn't clear up so I was sent to an alergist. All the normal tests he did were all negative so he did some blood tests that have to be sent to the Mayo Clinic. The results came back that I had 7 food alergies that effect the blood and screw up your immune system by putting inflamation out into your body to protect you from the food you are eating. They didn't find out why I had the larengitis that way (had to culture that at a later time) but for years I have had pain in all my joints and every test they have done on me since I was a teenager had inflamation in my body but no one knew why. Now since I no longer eat those foods, I am pain free and the inflamation is gone. You never know. I suggest you get tested if you think you have an alergy. You may also test yourself the way the alergist had me test myself after I was off all those foods for 3 months. You go cold turkey from anything you think is a problem in your system for 3 months so that it completely leaves your system. Then take a small amount of it on 1 day and a double amount the next day and a tripple that the 3rd day and see how you feel and what it does to you. If you get any of your symptoms back, you are probably alergic to it or your body has a low tollerance for it. I hope that helps you out. The best way to find out is to go to the alergist. Good luck.
