This is totally nasty, I found this thing which looks like ring worm on my thigh. How can i treat this without wasting the $$$ on the Doctor? I am almost positive that it is ring worm.

Answers:
As far as ringworm on the body in general, it appears as a flat, round patch. You can see a pic of what it looks like here

Rinworm can be spread by direct skin-to-skin contact with an infected person or pet, indirect contact with an object or surface that an infected person or pet has touched, or rarely, by contact with soil. To prevent ringworm, towels, hats, and clothing of the infected person should not be shared with others. Young children that are infected should minimize close contact with other children until effectively treated. You can read more about ringworm here

Ringworm is treated with over the counter anti-fungals.
Antibiotics and lotion!
that calamyne stuff and u can get it from animals who have it...or at least thats how i got one!! and dont scratch it!!
go to wall greens ask the pharmacists about this anti-fungous cream it will clear it up in know time. and if that doesn't work you should go see a doctor
You can get some cream over the counter for pretty cheap (like 10 dollars or so) put the cream on once or twice daily as specified and it will go away in about a month or just wait for it to go away on it's on (it will) for free. You get it from animals. It can't be passed human to human. It is passed Human to animal to human etc.
