Breast Cancer?!?!?!?

GREETINGS, I'm a cancer survivor. My first lump was near my chest bone on the side so you are right to ask what it could be and question it.
With your age, it's probably a swollen duct, cyst, or related to growth or hormones. Is it perfectly round? Are you near your period? If you are right near your period, it's probably a swollen duct, dairy products, caffeine and salt cause fluid build up when you are near your period so try to cut those out. Cysts also occur from caffeine.
I would watch it until after your next period, if it's still there, talk to your mom and have her make a doctors (gyno) appointment for you to have it checked out.
its a significant finding if you are midway between your menstrual cycle.
at your age it may be a benign fibroadenoma (a fibrotic mass of benign glandular breast tissue)
to be sure, go to your surgeon and have a needle biopsy, or have it removed outright.
it could be just because you are developing, but you should definitely TELL YOUR DOCTOR if you have not noticed it there before...it's better safe than sorry!
It is very very unlikely it is cancer. Lumps are pretty common. It's probably a fluid filled cyst or a solid non cancerous tumor called a fibroadenoma. If it is a cyst, the fluid would be removed by a needle. If it is a fibroadenoma then it may be watched to see if it grows. If it gets large and uncomfortable or cause you stress then it should be removed. The Dr may take a piece out with a needle and look at it with an ultrasound to see if it is cancer, just to be safe. Just go to your doctor to find out what it is.
well someone cant guess what it might be you need to go and get checked out by a doc. i have breast cancer i no.. good luck 2 u
