Symptoms are. what is wrong with me??
Question:
Basically the minuter that I wake up I have pain in my arms and my hands are numb for about 3/4 minutes. Very strong pins and needles in my legs and arms and shooting pains. The worst thing however is the throbbing in my head. All the pains are constant while I am working and moving about (physical work) but they get worse when I get home, sit down and relax. Muscle spasms all over are frequent too!
Please help this is really bad been going on over a year, this is destroying my relationship with my wife doctors are clueless they have no idea.
Answers:
Could be MS (multiple sclerosis) but I am not a doctor. I would suggest finding a GP who can help you. You need answers this is not normal. Have they offered you a CAT or MRI scans to check your body over? I would ask for one and keep persevering with your GP or another. Its your health you need to get answers!
This link mentions some of the symptoms

Sounds like he has a disc compressing on his spinal cord,I have the same problem I have to have surgery, you need to have it seen about if that is what is you will have to have surgery also, its very dangerous you could fall or get hit and become parylized.Go have it seen about
Have you had an MRI done? If not I would have the DR order one. It sounds like herniated or bulging discs in the neck for sure and possibly the back.
i don't want to scare you but the symptoms are those similar to multipulsclerosis .I would demand a second opinion.hope she is well soon
Something is pressing on circulatory and spinal system----have they tested for an aneurysm or a tumour I agree the doctors are useless, all they care about is their £100,000 + a year for doing f--k all
Possibly you have Fibromyalgia. I was finally diagnosed with this after experiencing nearly all your symptoms. This affects all your nerve endings, makes you woolly headed, dizzy. Muscles go into spasm as well . See the doctor as they do recognise this as an illness now AT LAST. My balance is all over the place and sometimes I talk slurred. This is not an illness that kills but it is so frustrating as on offer are painlillers, antidepressants etc. On the plus side get referred to a physio at the hospital and have some hydrotherapy, anything that takes the weight off the pain. There was a fibromyalgia clinic at the last place I lived but they ran out of funding for it. There are so many people out there that suffer with this. Ask the doctor about it as they need a nudge to remember that people have this! I wish you lots of luck but it sounds like fibro. to me lol, I know how your partner feelsxxx
sounds like blood supply is not proper try some iron supplements and b-complex,this condition is usually stress related so avoid stress
You need to go back to your GP and insist on a referral. This could be something simple like a trapped nerve in your back or something. Insist on a full blood test. Ask for a MRI scan too. The other thing is to go to A&E - lay it on really thick and you will definitely be seen and tested. I know it sounds extreme but that is what many people do now - they just find going back and forth to the docs and being fobbed of too much. If you can afford to pay privately then do so - I know it doesn't seem fair when you pay taxes but often a quick diagnoses will give you peace of mind.
Go back to GP and ask for a referral to neuorology ASAP, if the GP is clueless it's his duty to start referring to specialists to rule out possible causes. First poster could be right - you need a referral ASAP as dx any probs can be a long drawn out affair. If the GP has been unable to help in anyway it's time they sent you to someone who could help. You must insist that they start to help you even with managing symptoms - make an appoinment and don't take no for an answer!
