Scar from pre-skin cancer removal?

Question:
Almost 2 months ago I had liquid nitrogen applied to remove skin cancer. Is it normal for the scar to become a hard knot and still hurt sometimes?

Answers:
I have had liquid nitrogen many times and have never experienced this. Usually the pre-cancer freezes and forms a scab that falls off on its own after about 5 days. If I were you I would get right back into the docs office and have it looked at again. I was told once that sometimes it takes more than one freezing to get it all.

Good Luck.
