If I was playing around I would say men make me itch! But for real, it's just things in the environment referred to free radicals or simply put those things in the environment that we cant see or necessarily feel, like mold, pollen, air pollution, etc... Germs, maybe also the body natural responses to stress, it happens to us all, and it hits us in differant forms I guess. Thats an interesting question
Germs can cause itching yes. Also, allergies and skin conditions like eczema and dandruff.

itching s caused either neurally ( through teh nervous system) something being ON your skin, medication side effects.
"germs" have no effect, per se, so antimicrobial soaps are ineffective, not good as they create superinfections and,in fact can worsen it by drying your skin out...
Lose tiny flakes of skin, dry skin, allergies and skin conditions like eczema and dandruff. Itching is your body telling you there is something on your skin that is irritating it.
