After an ischemic stroke for how long brain is improved?I do technical job and feel confused.had stroke 3m ago
I had an ischemic stroke 3 moths ago.I do a highly technical job (I.T) and find that i have problems not only to remember but also to anayse problems etc.
For how long will my brain will keep on getting better if so? Have you got any comeback stories/experience.If things dont get better i will have to turn into a manual work carrer.

Keep working your brain!! The human brain is an incredible organ that will find ways to re-route damaged pathways. Do all kinds of memory and other mental exercises every day to retrain your brain. Don't give up- even if you find you can't do the exact job you were hired to do, there are PLENTY of other great jobs out there for you. Good luck!

I had one about 6 years ago. Fortunatly for me and all of us who have had one, all functions will return. Given time you should be back at 100 %. I temporarly lost some of the use of my left hand, but it all came back. Your brain has the ability to " rewire " itself. So hang in there,and good luck !
