Metastatic Melanoma?
Question:

I don't mean to scare you or anything..but my mom got it and her life expectancy was anywhere from 1 day to 1 year..she looked perfectly fine the first day..but gradually got worse and worse by the HOURS. She died 3 days later......
I'm sorry to tell you that but it's the truth.I hope you'll make it through it.I'll pray for you, after what happened to my mom, I feel soooooooooo bad for anyone who is suffering from terminal cancer.I'll pray for you to get better and for it to just GO AWAY.
It depends on where the cancer has metastasized TO. Some internal organs and bones are easier to treat than others. I know of one man who was only in his 40's that had metastatic melanoma in his heart. It was impossible to beat and he succumbed to it rather soon after he was diagnosed.
Don't panic, though. Find out what all the options are, and talk to the oncologist about statistics.
