Dermatologists?!?
Question:
I'm 13 years old and I've been dealing with acne since I was about 11. I'm just soo sick of it! It seems like I've tryed every single acne product and it works for a little bit but then it just stops!
I've seen shows like "10 Years Younger" where the girls go to dermatologists and they have masks that rid of their scars and redness and stuff. They also do stuff like laser treatments as well.
I was wondering if I should go to one and if they would consider doing any of this stuff to me..

PS. I have mild to moderate acne.mostly breakouts on chin and forehead and large pores on my cheeks and nose..

Yes, dermatologists do have medications that work better than anything you can get in the store. I started getting acne when I was 8, and have had it ever since, and I'm 42. But not everyone is the same. I get stuff from the dermatologist that keeps it under control. If something she gives me quits working, I just go back and ask her if we can try something else. But be patient, very often it will get worse before it gets better, so don't quit using it when it gets worse.
