How do you get rid of and prevent canker sores?

Question:

Answers:
Simply rinse your mouth with warm salt water. A 1/8 teaspoon of salt in a small cup will do it. Before bed is best, as you are through eating and drinking. Swish it around good. Won't hurt your teeth and it heals up sores. I don't know of a way to prevent them, but treat them right away. And keep rinsing until they are gone.
I got these only as a teenager, and only one year, but I do sympathize. I've given you a link below.
I have braces and everything so i get a lot of canker sores, so I rinse my mouth out with Colgate Peroxyl Antiseptic Oral Cleanser every morning and night and to get rid of them fast, I apply Colgate Orabase. And try cutting back on fried foods since they sometimes cause canker sores. Hope that helps!
These are a form of herpes! once u get them, u'll always get them once in a while. However, they can be brought on by a lack of Vit C or eating too many acidic foods...I have a habit on the summer of eating 6-10 tomatos per day...after a week, I have a couple sores bc it eats away the tissue in your mounth and stomach. U can buy a topical treatment at the drugstore. It is an iodine soultion that u apply to the sore and it numbs it and cleans it out, helping it to heal faster and to not bother as much while ur eating and talking.
Canker sores suck, but the BEST way I know of to get rid of them, is to wet the end of a toothpick (leave the bubble of water) and dip it into Baking Soda. Then stick the blob of baking soda directly onto the sore. It'll sting pretty bad at first, but then it desensitizes and doesn't hurt. Plus it helps it heal faster.
