You will feel SO much better in a couple of weeks.
I really dont think you should worry about it much since people who have never smoked a cig. a day of their life end up getting it often too. Then you have people that smoke ALL their life and never get it...
Just know that you have 'decreased' your chances tremendously by quitting! Especially at your age because the risk increases as we get older if you continue smoking.
I have read that as time goes by...after you quit, the longer you stay quit the more your chances decrease AND have also read that after several years of staying smoke free that your chances become almost as low as someone that has never smoked!
You didnt smoke that long, so I think your body will recover dramatically over time!
Be fore warned though...if you pick it back up it will be even harder the second time around to quit. SO DONT DO IT.
I quit for 2 1/2 years and picked them back up...have tried several times to quit again and failed.
SO KEEP UP THE DAYS!
AND DONT EVER THINK THAT YOU CAN HAVE JUST "ONE"!

well, at least you quit. since you didn't smoke for long, there's a possibility that you wouldn't GET lung cancer. other than that, i think you just ask a doctor :)
