You do not need to get tested if a flea bites you..or even several fleas.. Just wash area and do not scratch as you can cause infection by scratching.. If you get bit by a TICK then you need to test and be careful as they carry many diseases ( also some mosquitos carry disease) .. keep an eye on the area if if is just a little bump and perhaps a bit red..it should go away in a few days ..if something does develop or you run fever go to doctor asap.. been bitten by many many fleas <sigh> ...
