Question:
One day, I woke up and shocked of what I have noticed around my neck. It would be less alarming for me if it grew sides of my neck as it is common but this time is really different... I also have a measle at the center part of my neck and it's a bit painful... I could have thought that it would lead into a very serious illness like goiter or cancer (oh my god!) but when I consulted it to my classmate, she said it might only be tonsilitis which I would thank myself if it will be the case. However, I just want to make it sure that's why I'm asking you guys... more preferably medical outputs. Thx a lot for your answers ^_^
P.S. I know consulting to a doctor is the surest way of asking my condition but since this only occured today, I'm asking it here in YA instead.

Where are they? On your neck or in your throat? If they are inside you throat you probably have strep throat in which case you immediately need antibiotics to prevent it going to your heart valves. If it's on the skin of your neck, why do you think it's measles? A lot of things can cause bumps on your skin including chicken pox or shingles. Goiter is a big enlargement of your thyroid gland and has nothing to do with it. Why on earth would you think it's cancer! It sounds like between you are your friend you know absolutely nothing about health and you need to go to the Doctor before somebody gets really sick!
