Do you believe DR.Onish's book Reversing Heart Disease?

Question:
I bought it & there is a lot of good programs in it All without pills which I hate

Answers:
Yes! There is a lot of evidence that a very-low-fat, plant-based diet can reverse heart disease. He has had great results. Good luck with it!
Never read it, but heart disease can be slowed and improved. There alot of things that contribute to heart disease, age, sex, stress, genetics, diet, activity level, smoking. Changing your lifestyle with managed medication can help your heart, but you may have to commit to these changes permanently to keep your heart in check. Males are more likely to have the disease, family history, age all things we cannot control, but can slow down.

I think it has a lot of crap in it. Heart disease can be helped by reducing or eliminating sugar. Fats are healthy. Once a heart is damaged, it is damaged. Some things cannot be repaired by diet.
