Abdominal Pain?

Question:
Hi, I'm a 15 years old female. I've been noticing pain at the right side of my belly button. The area of pain is about 2-3 centimers away from my belly button. It hurts to press, bend over, breathe deeply, and cough. The severity of the pain depends at times because sometimes it hurts so much that I can barely stand and just have to sit down until the pain subsides and sometimes the pain is very dull and I'm able to walk and do my daily things. There are no other symptoms except the pain, vomitting, and nausea. If I press in the area, whatever I'm feeling feels very hard and I don't know if that's normal or not. I've been wondering if it's my appendix but my pain has been lasting about 2 weeks or so and if it was my appendix, my appendix would have ruptured and I would be on the verge of death right now. I've been thinking about what kind of organs are to the right of my belly button except my intestines. Can you help me? Thank You.

Answers:
That sounds like an ovarian cyst. Make an appointment to see an OBGYN right away. If that's what you have, you need to get it taken care of as soon as possible.
u should go to the family physician and see what they think. it might just be a little groth or staf infection.
i think its ur appendix! ive never had my appendix taken out.
but one of my bffs and my dad has! so i know what it is and what the feeling is because i ask them everytime i get a sharp pain in my stomach!
so see a doctor ASAP! :]

good luck!
You need to go see a doctor. And stop pushing on it.
you need to see a doctor. Abdominal Pain can be caused by a number of things. Some of them more serious than others. Being on the right side could be your appendix even tho it has been 2 weeks. I once had a friend who had appendicitis for 3 weeks before the Dr actually figured it out. Her symptoms were very much the same as yours. It just wasn't bad at first but as it progressed and enlarged to the point of near rupture the Dr was able to diagnose and removed it. It also could be some sort of infection. Your body is trying to tell you something is wrong. Listen to it and see a Doctor
Definitely go to the doctor, it could be an ovarian cyst (that's how I realized I had them, a pain in my abdomen and then my back, on the side) or like you said something like your appendix. It's probably something that can be easily treated-- if you go now. Just don't wait until the symptoms get worse. Hope everything works out okay :)
