As far as my experience, yes you may. All of us has virus in our system. When our immunne system is strong then we can fight trhe virus in our body. Cold temperature weakens our resistance so the virus can easily strike and weaken us.
Nope, all that being cold does is lower your immunity to the cold virus, if you're out all day in freezing conditions and never come across the virus then you wont contract it.
Of course it works the other way round, if you're in a pleasant 32 degree (C) atmosphere and you come across the virus anywhere, then you've got a chance of contracting it.
some people are SO MISINFORMED!! cold air and cold water and ice will cause sickness. I can't believe that people actually think that you can't get sick from cold air/water/ice! It is important to keep your body at warmer temperatures to keep it working properly. You should always wear a hat on your head in the cold to protect your brain and you should wear a jacket to protect your chest. Breathing in cold air makes your lungs cold, so wearing a scarf is always a good idea. I can't believe this person would tell you to let your baby go out in the cold with no inclement weather protection. have your misinformed friend have a naked day out in the wind and rain or in some snow and see if he doesn't get sick.
Well yes and no cold air lowers our body temperature and out body adjusts to the air just like in water and you have to get used to it.
Which would make it eaiser for a to catch a flu or cold or anything else.
Of course! Its happened to me dozens of times. Some people are much more sensitive to cold air, however.
