Can you take Antibiotics/Amoxcillin 500mg with Sudafed?

Question:
Yea, i was wondering if you could take antibiotics with sudafed? would it do any harm.. if i take them at the same time or should i wait like 30 mins in between??

Answers:
It's fine. There's no interaction. Next time though, please ask your pharmacist.
yes you can.
You take them together. It sounds as you may be trying to clear up an sinus infection? The sudafed will help dry you up, and that is good. You should really call your pharmacy and ask them about counter reactions of different prescriptions.
ask yr doctor or pharmacist about any drugs you plan to take !
There is no conflict between Sudefed and Amoxcillin. If there was I would have been dead 10 years ago,

If it makes you feel more comfortable and safer wait 30 minutes but there is no contraindication for those drugs. I use both of them and they both have functioned well since I have used them at bed time. If you are taking a lot of medicines at the same time such as vitamins, anti-cholesterol drugs and maybe Valium along with antihistamines then you might have just over loaded your system where they may have a conflict, or not become as effective as you may desire.

You can always look up the package insert on the Internet and that will tell you exactly what the manufacturer has submitted to the FDA and been approved by the FDA.
