MS is a condition of the nervous system where the covering around nerves constricts and deteriorates. It is thought to be a genetic pre-disposition. There are some drugs that help but no cure and no know cause exists. More women the men have the condition and it is not understood why. Progressive MS if not reversed is a one way door out of this life. In many cases the quality of life can be improved and extended but lives are typically cut short. Eventually the nerves fail and cause complications in other parts of the body. MS victims cannot be blamed for their condition, but are often avoided by family and friends.
