My Mom's dog is very depressed. What do you think?

My Mom is in the hospital with lung cancer. Do you think her doggy knows she is sick and dying?

I think animals are pretty well tuned into their master's feelings/well being etc. Some people's pets even lose the will to live when their owner dies.
My dog is on cloptramine for seperation anxiety is has been a great help with no visable side affects. He is 60 lbs and started on 50mgs. It has been 3 months and he is still on 50 mgs. It has savedhis sanity and mine! Your mom's dog definitely senses something is wrong and has anxiety b/c of it. You should talk to a vet. There is no reason he should suffer more than necessary.
