Yes, it's contagious and so are many conditions. Call ahead and ask to be transferred to the nurse's station. Speak to his nurse and ask if he's allowed visitors. If so, visit him and be prepared to don protective equipment (mask, cover gown and gloves) before you enter his room. He'll be in conatct isolation.
yes
Can be its infection and all about cleaniness some how the things that were used on his case was not that clean so in his case hes the one that got it to bad for him all they can do is keep the area clean feed with antibiotics and hope he gets better i hear that alot and it takes a long time to get better. Good luck.
Yes. And he is also in a very sensitive place. When I was an infant, I had a staph infection that developed into spinal menegitis. They thought I was going to die. I was very lucky to survive. But I now have to live with epilepsy due to this trauma.
My thoughts are with your family. Especially those of you supporting him. I know how much he values your support.
yes...but they may let you see him through a glass or if they suit you up in a hazmat suit and mask...because you are as dangerous to him as he is to you. (he can have more than one infection at a time)
I'm so sorry..I hope he makes it.. [[[ ]]]
You will not catch staph from visiting your cousin in the hospital.
You have at least one kind of staph living on your body right now, and this is normal. In order to cause infection, staph needs a way to get inside your body (such as through a cut or scrape)
All you have to do is warh your hands after you leave.
I know that it is very dangerous for him, but I'm not sure about you. If he has a fever, then I strongly advise against seeing him.
