Does anyone know anything about ear pressure and hearing loss because of it?

I get this sometimes too, but it doesn't last as long as yours. It'll just be off and on for a few days. I think mine is fluid, because it sounds like that ear is underwater (meaning, i can hear myself really amplified, but I can't hear other things very well). Sometimes, if I bend over and tilt my head down, that will help things. Other times, it doesn't do any good. Taking over the counter decongestants helps (not right away, but afterwards). I have a doctor's appointment in a couple of weeks, so I'm hoping they'll be able to tell me what to do. I don't know about your situation, but I think mine is an allergy thing. So, maybe you could try taking an allergy medication and see if that helps your problem.
Sounds like you need to go see your ENT doc and get this checked out to find out what is going on. Go to your pharmacy though and get some Sudafed (the real stuff) and try that until you can get in to see your ENT doc.
I'm not a medical provider, but I see this every day. Most of the time it's straight up eustachian tube dysfunction, possibly aggravated by seasonal allergies. Usually not serious, occasionally (and RARELY) can be caused by a benign cyst called a cholesteatoma which if left untreated can lead to extremely serious complications. Don't mess around, see a doctor.
