How many people know that have cystic fibrosis or do u even know what it is?

The reason why I ask is b/c I have it and people and I can died from it. If u dont know what it is just go to cff.org and it will tell ya.

Answers:
I do know what cystic fibrosis is, and I had a very good friend in high school who had it. With the remarkable advancements in treatment, he's still doing very, very well (from what I hear). I regret losing touch with him over the years, but my mother still hears something about his family from another family she does stay in touch with.

I know quite a bit about medicine, but cystic fibrosis is not much I know a lot about. I know about the salty skin and how they diagnose it at birth and a bit more.

i had two friends who have since passed that had it.. brother and sister... Jamie and Janna.. and my niece Erin has it ..she's 6

My 4 year old daughter has CF, so we know quite a bit about it. The only other people I know with CF are ones that we have met at Great Strides Walk sites.
