Vitamin E cream worked for me and it is safe to use on face. I used it on leg. My leg decided to get friendly with hubby's motorcycle tailpipe.
P.S. My scar is half the size that it would have been.
Palmer's Cocoa Butter in a tub or the cream
It has an obvious scent of cocoa (chocolate) - not a particular product for scars but it is very moisturizing and will fade out stretch marks
Unfortunately, creams will not help, nevermind what they say. It is only selling tactic. If it is only normal scar on your face, remember that some women like "ragged" look and would find it more interesting comparing to some baby-faced guy.
There is nothing you can do about scar (but, it gets better with age), Don't listen to anyone from cosmetic salon etc. but aim to get consultation with plastic surgeon who knows all techniques how to deal with the skin. You can phone around and ask if he deals with face scars. If he/she says that they can do something about it (laser, dermabrasion etc.) then start saving your money and have it done by real doctor (not some quack). Nothing less will help you.
Good luck.
