What's the safest way to remove skin tags ?
Question:
Answers:
Don't remove them, you never know if you might want to take it back for a refund. Save receipt.
Go to you DR.and let them take them off it really simple and they do it in the office I just had about 8 took off my neck.
Well the safest way to remove them is obviously by seeing a Dermatologist, but the other option is to numb it with ice and clip it of with a pair of steriled finger nail clippers or scissors.
To sterilize: heat the tips of the clippers with a match or lighter and then boil them in water for 5 minutes. Let cool on a dry papertowel and then numb the skin tag area with an ice cube for about 1-2 minutes and just snip it off.. Once you cut it off apply neosporin and a small bandaid..
Good luck...
The safest way is via your physician. I had some skin tags, my physician removed them lickedy-split with a cauterizor (sp??) in his office. I didn't even need local anesthesia. And I was paranoid and insisted on them being tested for skin cancer--he told me they weren't but he sent them off anyways--they weren't, by the way. But that is the safest way and P.S.--it is also the most cosmetic way.
