Treatment for Myopathy?

Question:
I've recently been diagnosed with Myopathy after doing an EMG which revealed some Myopathic units. This is causing me extreme fatigue.

I was wondering what kind of treatment does one get with this problem? And will a biopsy have to be done.

Thanks!

Answers:
Myopathic changes refer to weakness or biopsy results that suggest a muscle disorder, such as muscular dystrophy.
Because different types of myopathies are caused by many different pathways, there is no single treatment for myopathy. Treatments range from treatment of the symptoms to very specific cause-targeting treatments. Drug therapy, physical therapy, bracing for support, surgery, and even acupuncture are current treatments for a variety of myopathies.
If it would begin with me, I would ask the doctor to prescribe Vit B12, and be more in the fresh air, also often opening my house windows for 5 mins an hour. Oxygen is very important for muscles and nerves.
