I looked up an old friend & his father told me that he now has half a brain & is slow & legally blind due to alcohol & drugs.What does this mean? What do you think this means?

It could mean that he is at half of what he should be. he could have been in a wreck. the only drug that i know of that physically destroys grey matter (brain matter) is mdma.
