"hypochondriacs" is what they are...one of my uncle's was a classic one, in that he would read "Time" magazine's health columns and then be sure he had the disease of the week. He managed not to see doctors, of course, so he fits your definition to a T.

When people worry about having lots of different diseases that is called Hypochondria...its a phobia. There are other names as well for it...like when studying to be a doctor medical students tend to think they have each new disease they are studying..

Well, the usual term used is hypochondriac. But really, hypochondria is a serious neurosis that can lapse into really delusional, almost psychotic behavior. So, when people call their friends who read too much Web MD hypochondriacs, they're using the term very loosely :)
