No, it's not a 'waste of time and money' to go see a doctor. Those 'headaches' are probably 'just sinus headaches' and they CAN be from 'allergies' (the older you get, the more 'prone' to allergies you become), but could also be from other, MUCH WORSE things, like 'sinus infection' or even 'tumor.' YOU NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR REGULARLY (at least once a year) so he'll have a good 'baseline' and can better 'direct your care' if and when you 'get sick' and really 'need' a doctor to 'fix' you. And if there is a good 'prescription' that will 'stop those headaches' better than an OTC antihistamine or 'allergy tab' then you would be 'wasting money' and possibly HARMING your health by buying an OTC drug ... but if you don't need a prescription, you'll be given a 'name' of antihistamine that would be 'best' to stop your headaches ... antihistamines are generally 'allergy stoppers' but different ones work better on different allergies. GO TO THE DOCTOR ... it's a 'good use' of your time and money, not a waste.
like you say sinus headaches could be migranes stress can bring them on go see your dr if they dont go he will give you some good tablets i had some given to me from the dr best wishes

headaches can be caused from a few diff things maybe not enough sleep, to much stress like having two jobs. or you worry about things to much as far as family or Friends so try and find some time for just you like some down time. As far as allergies go some people get allergies later in there life and never had them before. go to your local drug store and get some over the counter sinus meds and see if they work. its worth a try. But i think that your headaches are caused from two much stress.
too much stress You should try having a good 2 hour nap and a bubble bath. You Could also try rosemary tea.
Also take two hugs each day.
