Skin cancer?
Question:
like if i got a second degree sunburn did my chances just go up?
and if your doctor says ur at risk, how do you know if you have "signs" of it?
Answers:
My friend's mom had melanoma,(but survived, thankfully) She got it from tanning alot as a teenager, Don't try to tan, trust me it is not worth it. If you have a family member who had it, your chances go up. Always wear sunscreen when you go swimming!! Or if you are outside for a while. Try Neutrogena sunsceen, or anything with Zinc. Yes, sunburn can increase your chances of getting skin cancer. I get my skin checked once a year by a dermatologist because I've had a mole removed with atypical cells. They had to go back and remove some more tissue because they said it was the kind that would have been a melanoma (the most dangerous kind.) Always wear sunscreen, avoid sunburns and tanning beds and get checked yearly!
