Doctors, is this true?


Question:
My gramma said that her doctor said if you chew the inside of your mouth, like biting off little pieces of skin, you can get mouth cancer. Is it true?

Answers:
Persistent irritation of a given site MAY lead to cancer but by no means certain it will do so. Other factors need to be considered such as person's vulnerability to such cancer, length and degree of irritation etc.

I dont think it does your mouth any good by chewing it . I used to have a habit of doing that when I was young. Cancer Iam not sure but I dont think it helps!!
