Nosebleeds, should I go see a doctor?
Question:

if this was an every day occurance i would say go to your doctor. but you are probably right, it is due to the humidity. take your index finger and place it on the inside of your upper lip and hold it there for a minute or so that should stop the blood flow
the first aid instructions I have say that if your nosebleeds last more than 10 minutes that you should call 911. But I think you should just go to the doctor instead.
Yup, you need to see a doc. This could mean one of many things... You could be anemic, you could have high blood pressure, or you could just have capillaries or veins inside your nose that are really close to the surface and you nick them somehow. Yes, definately see a doc. If they run tests and can't find anything wrong, ask for a referal to an ENT (ear, nose, and throat specialist).

a nose bleed sometimes can be a sign of high blood pressure. the capillary in your nose act as a blow off valve in the body. when your blood pressure gets too high, it puts a lot of stress on them and they burst cause a nose bleed. you should check your blood pressure and see if its high. you should see a doctor if you are at the age where high blood pressure is common
I would go see and ENT ears nose and throat. better to be safe.
