If you know you are HIV+ and have protected or unprotected sex with a person without their knowledge of your condition, then you are shooting a loaded gun at them. The bullet may just take ten years to kill them.
Added on to that should be manslaughter charges towards anyone their unknowing partner had sex with.
I think he should have to pay for his sex partners medical bills and do community service of giving speeches to youth groups on the importance of safe sex etc.
Well isn't it attempted murder when someone does that. He should get a loooong time in prison for that HIV is not anything to joke around with.

I think he should have to face the consequences of his actions. It is not like he did not know he had HIV. What he did was inconsiderate and dangerous. Whatever the punishment, it is not good enough. This was a deliberate act. Maybe he should have to wear letters on his clothes identifying him as having HIV. Maybe that would make people think before acting. Just a thought.
I dont know what his punishment should be but I know from first hand experience that doing that is more than wrong and that he should have charges pressed against him. Someone in family had this happen to them and they tried to press charges. This kind of thing is sad and hard to put into words. I dont think there is a punishment out there that would bring justice to the situation.
I have heard of this happening and to me, it is premeditated murder for the person knew he was HIV positive and had unprotected sex anyway. I have heard there are laws on this but not updated on it.
