Having children naturally after testicular cancer?

Question:
we are hoping to have children naturally and wanted to know how long it has taken for people in a similar situation to have children after chemotherapy. We are currently undergoing IVF treatment but would love to have children naturally in the future. would love to hear from anyone to give some light on the situation and hope.

Answers:
It can happen as I know someone who underwent high dose chemotherapy, radiation, and stem cell transplant. He just became a father last year to a baby girl.

6MONTHS TO A YEAR AFTER TREATMENT
I have a friend who got pregnant about two years after her husband finished RT for testicular cancer.

Best of luck to you!
My father had testicular cancer at 29, and had one testicle removed and radiotherapy. He went on to have three more children, the first of them born less than 18 months after his diagnosis.

He died 47 years later of something unrelated.

He didn't have chemo though - but from what other people have said here it sounds hopeful.

Good luck to you both
